Let me start off by saying that airplanes completely gross me out. I’ve flown a bunch of times in my life, my son (at three years old) has already flown around 10 times and my husband flies all the time – and each and every time we all get sick. We take all the proper precautions (like hand washing and getting rest) but the airlines have made it a little more difficult since they don’t allow a lot of liquids on the flight. I wonder if you can ever still bring hand sanitizer! In addition to all the cough and sneeze germs (that you might be able to avoid) – you also have to worry about those pillows you and your kids are resting your heads on! It’s been confirmed by airlines (and their cleaning staff) that the pillow cases on the flights are usually not changed after each flight – but changed at the end of the day. There could be 5 or more people using that pillow before you! Staph much? How about that super flu MRSA? Those germs can live up to 90 days on fabric! Lovely!

I’ve traveled so often, both my fingers and toes can’t account for it. Traveling nationwide and international is part of my job and I could never bring myself to use the teeny weeny pillows that are provided by the airlines. We have an upcoming family trip…and it will be great try out this product, if we ever win it.

there are times where I am traveling 4-5 times in a month then go months without a trip but really hate it- hate – hate it! Most times I do not get a chance to shop, I fly in and out on prearranged tickets and cannot change- last time I went to a huge city and got there 6 am and sat in a meeting where people would not shut up or make a decision and ended up till just before I had to leave for the airport at 9pm- but yep I travel alot. mrs.mommyyatgmail.com
