Blog Giveaway : Piano For Pre-Schoolers Basic Course
GIVEAWAY CLOSED!

I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I was when I discovered it was possible for me to teach my daughter to play the piano despite the fact that I have never had the opportunity to learn it myself. I’m sure this sounds unbelievable but it’s true! *Still doing happy dance*
Piano For Preschoolers is the brainchild of mommy Angie Crellin, who studied classical piano for more than 30 years and wanted to share the benefits of music with her children. Angie developed this program through hundreds of hours of research and saw the amazing result it had on her son.
Early this year, I had tried to enrol my 4 year old for piano lessons but was told that she should wait another year. I was quite sure that my girl was ready for it, so it was a blessing that we found Piano For PreSchoolers. We have both proven the teacher wrong as within the first 2 days of practice, my daughter was able to play the entire “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” song. She is so proud of her ahievement and so is this mommy! Since then, my little girl has been looking forward to her piano lessons with me each weekend. It’s really amazing that the step by step instructions in the song book are so easy to follow. Heck it’s so simple and fun, I am even fulfilling my own childhood dream of learning to play the piano!
BUY IT : Get this award-winning Piano For Preschoolers beginner piano lessons for less than the cost of one month of private lessons! Ideal for age 3-8, the Basic Course includes a 17-song music book, a 17-track CD, a 19-lesson parent/teacher handbook, and two keyboard color strip guides (one for full-sized piano, and one for mini-key keyboard). If you are still undecided, check out what other people are saying about this program!
WIN IT : For parents who are interested in an easy, fun, and affordable way to teach beginner piano lessons to your preschooler, this is definitely the program for you and your child. Two lucky readers will get a chance to win the Piano For Preschoolers Basic Course valued at $39.95.

Angie studied classical piano for more than 30 years. I am a homeschooling mother and I would love to give my youngest the head start my two older ones didn’t have. This product would help me with the musical head start

It looks like an impressive, colorful package, although I’d venture to say that no one could really guarantee that it would work for the average three or four year old. Five to eight years of age sounds reasonable, given this age group’s slightly more developed attention span.
September 22nd, 2008 at 10:18 am
angie’s children didn’t like the books/programs out there so she did this one. my children love music but don’t know how to introduce to them in away that they will play and have fun. this seems geared to my kids ages and will be able to keep their interest.
thanks!

Angie studied classical piano for 30+ years, I would like to win this because music is very important to my family. I play Cello, and her father plays clarinet, her sisters play sax and clarinet. So we need a new instrument for the “band”.

I can’t wait to teach my kids how to play the piano. Neither my husband or I fully learned how to play the piano and our children are going to learn, what a great way to introduce kids to learning how to play the piano. Angie developed this program through the interest of her children wanting to play.

Angie recently appeared on 5 different radio stations as a guest speaker.

Whoops, forgot to say why I’d like to win! My 5 year old would love to learn to play! We adore song and dance in our home, and I look forward to teaching her a musical instrument as part of our homeschooling.
September 22nd, 2008 at 7:48 pm
I’d love to introduce my grandchildren to the world of music

GREAT giveaway. Angie studied classical piano for 30+ years! Two of my children study piano, one is too young yet (hope I win!) and I think this is a marvelous prize, never saw anything like it before.
September 22nd, 2008 at 8:15 pm
We recently got a family heirloom passed down to us, my grandmother’s piano and this would be a great start for my son!
Angie has made guest appearances on numerous radio stations!
September 22nd, 2008 at 8:28 pm
Angie has two children, a girl and boy! (That counts, right?)
It’d be perfect for my own three-year old daughter, because she’s so interested in playing, but my personal ability only includes Chopsticks and Do-re-mi. DH quit piano lessons when he was about seven, and now claims to be sorry that he didn’t listen to his mother when she told him he’d always regret it. Huh. Isn’t that always the way?
September 22nd, 2008 at 9:52 pm
Angie came up with a fun rewarding piano program after realizing her daughter lost interest with other programs. I want my daughter to learn piano and her aunt was going to teach her but the piano burnt in a fire so that’s out the window. This looks much more effective a program!
September 22nd, 2008 at 10:15 pm
Angies daughter lost intrest in playing the piano, and once her son wanted to learn she didn’t want to repeat that so she searching other options and after hundreds of hours of research she developed “piano for preschoolers”
I’d love the chance to win this because I think its important for children to have the chance to express themselves through music and its a good hand-eye coordination and teaches patience.
September 22nd, 2008 at 10:32 pm
She is a mother of 2 and has played piano for over 30 years! Her Preschoolers uses color-coded notes to learn piano~!
September 22nd, 2008 at 10:33 pm
Angie enrolled her daughter in piano when she felt she was ready for it. Her daughter was incredibly excited, but after a short period of time her interest completely waned.
I’d love to win this for both of my daughters. My oldest is 5 and my youngest is going to be 3 next month. My mum tried to teach me to play piano when I was younger, but I had the same response as your daughter. I was all gung-ho about it, and then the interest disappeared. I regret to this day not sticking with it. My 5 year old daughter has been asking me every so often for the past 6mos or so if she was going to get to learn an instrument at when she started kindergarten. They don’t do instruments in kindergarten at her school except for the basic ones like maraccas, castanettas, etc. So, this would be a great way to get her the music immersion she’s indicated she’d like, and not spend a bunch of money on lessons that she might end up not liking after all.
Thanks for the entry!

My name is Angie Crellin. I’ve studied classical piano for more than 30 years. Ok wow she must have started young becuase she looks good for someone with 30 years behind her belt…
I would love to give this to my bil who says his kids have to learn the piano and this would be alot easier for the kids and alot less stressful than what he has in store
September 22nd, 2008 at 11:51 pm
She has appeared on 5 radio stations recently. This sounds like a wonderful way to get the younger set interested in music and piano lessons.
September 23rd, 2008 at 12:05 am
She studied classical music for more then 30 years. Her daughter started playing the piano at the age of two and eventually lost interest. Her son showed interest at the preschool age but didn’t want him to loose interest. So she created her own program.
I would love this for my daughter and son. My daughter loves her aunts piano and we can’t afford lessons like her cousin can. I would be something my daughter and son could enjoy this winter.

Angie Crellin used her program on her own son and saw amazing results. I saw that there is another program out, by another person who used it on his own child, and it’s called You Can Teach Your Baby To Read. I think if Angie Crellin used this You Can Teach Your Baby To Read technique and incorporated it with her own, she could teach Baby’s to Read Piano Notes. She could make a video program where she holds up flashcards of the note, then show the keyboard and play that note on the piano (showing of course the whole keyboard when she played it). The Babies would learn the note, the placemet on the piano and the sound. I don’t know if you could teach timing that way, but at least some of the very basics, for a start. Babies wouldn’t be able to actually play until they were older, but they’d get a heads up on other children, by knowing at least a little bit of the fundamentals of note reading. Her idea is great. Kids learn the most in the first couple years of life, and are still learning pretty rapidly up to about seven. If you can make it fun and like a game, they’ll want to learn.
Please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks.

Angie studied classical music for 30 years. My pre-school son has autism and loves music and research says music helps children with autism so I would love to start him out on the piano this way, he already is showing interest in our piano. Thanks so much for the opportunity and the giveaway. I’m off to stumble as well.

My soon to be brother-in-law and his wife just adopted a little boy (3 years old) from an orphanage in Ethiopia. He is a beautiful little boy that is so excited to try everything and anything new. I’d love to give this to him so that I can share the gift of music with him.
I play a variety of instruments for personal enjoyment and I know how important music is for education. I never had lessons growing up because we couldn’t afford them, so I learned later on. I’d love to give him the opportunity that I didn’t have.

We have been going back and forth about buying a piano for our four kids. We already have a keyboard but one of our children is very interested in playing the piano. Here is the fact I found; The Piano for Preschoolers beginning piano lessons teach what a child would learn in 6-12 months of a group piano class or private piano lessons.
September 25th, 2008 at 11:07 am
She has two kids: a girl and a boy. I’d love to have this program for my 19mo daughter. She loves music so much. She “conducts” classical music and her favorite is opera! Thanks for the great giveaway, hope I win!!

Angie studied classical piano for over 30 years.
I want to win it because we’ve been wanting to get our daughter in lessons for a while now (she’s six) but can’t afford it. We’ve read research that shows children who play piano perform better academically and have an easier time learning in school.
Thanks for the chance to win this awesome prize!

Here’s a fact:The concepts taught in each lesson of the teacher’s guide build upon each other so your child will be ready to read music written in black and white by the time he gets to these lessons.
I’d love to win this for both my son and daughter who have been dying to have piano lessons for some time now. They’d be thrilled to get the opportunity here at home because it can be difficult to tote them around to all the activities they’d want to do with four kids in the house. Thank you!

Angie came up with the preschool program after her son became intrested in piano. I would love to win this my son is very intrested in piano but I lack the knowledge to teach him
September 29th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
Angie developed “Piano for Preschoolers” because she was unhappy with the beginning piano books her daughter used and wanted her son to have a different experience learning.
I would like to try this out with my nearly 4 year old daughter. Her grandma has been playing organ in our church for 45 years, having started when she was only 12. My daughter loves to watch Grandma, loves to pretend to play like Grandma and I would love for her to follow in some big footsteps.

I had a dream the other night that my little boy, August, was playing piano in front of a huge crowd! Two days later, my husband’s parents asked us to take their antique upright piano as they were moving into a retirement home.
Then I see this post!! It seems the stars are aligning and my little man is destined for musical greatness. Thanks for the opportunity!

Angie has a daughter and son. Her daughter lost interest in playing from beginner books and her son (after trial and error results from her daughter) went through her method and learned via mom.
If they were learning just by being at Angie’s house, I want my kids to have a playdate, too! (I’ll settle for this, though!)

Angie created this program to keep her young son interested in piano, and it worked beautifully!
I have a brilliant and musically inclined 3 year old son who unfortunately won’t have access to piano lessons at this early age unless we happen to win this amazing prize, lol.
Like Angie, I have an older daughter who also didn’t have access to the things that might have helped her blossom even more beautifully, and like Angie, I want to make sure that doesn’t happen to my little son as well.
