There will be a couple of changes as well as updates on our site effective May 2009:

• Alyson of 3P’s Mama who had recently joined our editorial team, unfortunately will be leaving due to health issues. However, she will still assist us to complete a few reviews which she had committed to earlier and as such, you will still be seeing her post here in the next couple of weeks. On top of that, Alyson will also continue to remain on our panel of reviewers. I want to take this opportunity to thank her for her support and cooperation during her stint with us as well as wish her all the best of health always.

• With Alyson leaving the team, we will be looking for another US editor to replace her. Ideally, we would prefer to have a member from our panel of reviewers to join us but we are also open to having a non member who qualifies to join the team. In general, we are looking for someone who possess a high level of enthusiasm, who is well organized and timely when it comes to meeting deadlines and is a team player. Those interested to join as contributing editor can submit your application here. Deadline will be on 20th May 2009.

• In conjunction with our first anniversary, we will be launching a contest in June – “Best Review Blog Award 2009” to show our appreciation to product review blogs in the blogosphere. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon!

• On a personal note, there was a recent bereavement in my family which resulted in some chaos at home and many loose ends to tie. To say the least, it has been a pretty challenging week. As I foresee that I will not have as much time online, Su Chin has kindly offered her full assistance (I HEART THIS WOMAN) to run PR while I concentrate on my personal matters. You will be hearing more from Su via emails but rest assured that I will still be online as often as possible to oversee things. Thus, I hope that all of you can extend her the same support that you have provided me all these while.
